Hannity Tries To Compare FBI's Trump Campaign Probe To Killing Of George Floyd

“It’s not the same thing as what happened to George Floyd, but it’s horrific,” Hannity said of the FBI’s investigation into Trump’s 2016 campaign. “He was a victim of crooked cops.”

“Now, again, not the same circumstances. I’m not making any comparison,” the conservative host insisted. “A bad cop is a bad cop.”

Hannity said that the “damage” caused by Floyd’s death “is real to the country.”

“We know how a few malignant individuals can destroy lives and wreak havoc,” he added, an echo of the complaints he and Trump himself have made about the intelligence officials heading the investigation.

Hannity tried making the astonishing comparison once again near the end of his program in a meandering speech to Fox contributors Jeanine Pirro and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R).

“I said earlier there’s no comparison in the case. George Floyd didn’t need to die….But I, for three years, have also — again, one bad cop, look what happened. Look what is the result,” he rambled, going on about “abuse of power.”

“Bad people in high positions, very different, but it means something,” the host declared. “Bad people on the job are not good.”
