Seventy-two percent of Americans believe that big government is the largest threat facing the country, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday.

Survey respondents also said that big givernment was a bigger threat than big business and big labor. Twenty-one percent said big business is the greatest threat, while only 5 percent said big labor is.

Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA), a primary candidate in the 2014 Georgia Senate race, on Saturday suggested poor students sweep floors in order to get a free lunch, according to the Huffington Post.

Kingston opposes the federal school lunch program, which subsidizes meals for kids from low-income families, but he said that if schools do provide meals, students should learn that nothing is free.

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said Wednesday that he would like another full term as Senate Majority Leader if Democrats maintain control of the upper chamber, but nothing more.

"I don't want to do it more than eight more years," Reid, who is up for re-election in 2016, told Roll Call.
