Specter Tells Bachmann To Act Like A 'Lady'

In the midst of an exchange, while asking a question about Bachmann's voting record, Specter took exception to Bachmann personally (you can listen to the exchange here).

"This is beginning to sound like a TV talk show," Specter said before things really broke down. "I asked you a question as to what you voted for and you didn't say anything because--"

"I voted for prosperity," Bachmann interjected.

"Now wait a minute, I'll stop and you can talk," Specter said.

"OK," Bachmann responded.

"I'll treat you like a lady, so act like one," Specter said.

"Well I am a lady," Bachmann responded, before they both returned to the debate at hand.

Today, a new poll shows Specter trailing former Rep. Pat Toomey by nine points in the Pennsylvania Senate race.
