The tweet advertising a 30-percent-off sale was bombarded by racist Twitter trolls claiming they would boycott Old Navy over its decision to not include a white family in the photo:

Old Navy has yet to directly address the dustup. The corporate Twitter account did attempt to reach out to one Twitter user who was upset, only to stop answering when the user replied, "Take a guess."
But the tides seemed to turn as replies to the tweet took a more positive spin over the weekend, with customers saying they'd intentionally shop at Old Navy in order to support the retailer and thanking the company for showing a family that resembles theirs:
