Do Donald Trump's "gaffes" really hurt him? A super PAC supporting Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) is betting on it.
In a newly released web ad titled "Trump's Greatest Hits," the New Day for America super PAC strings together some of Trump's most over-the-top Trumpisms since he jumped into the Republican primary, including the one where he tells The View's hosts that "if Ivanka weren't my daughter perhaps I'd be dating her."
The mashup also highlights Trump's disdain for Fox News host and debate moderator Megyn Kelly as it asks "Presidential?, Commander in Chief?","Leader of the Free World?"
The web ad is the first in a series the super PAC has planned, according to a report in Politico. The PAC intends to spend $2.5 million on Trump-bashing efforts. The ad also draws the public's attention to Trump gems like the one where he disparaged Arizona Sen. John McCain (R) –a POW who was held in a Vietnamese prison for more than five years.
"He's a war hero because he was captured," Trump said.
