Earlier this week, the Associated Press obtained court documents from 2005 in which Cosby testified that he purchased and administered Quaaludes, a powerful sedative, with the intention of incapacitating women he wanted to have sex with. He has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than two dozen women in a string of incidents that span decades.

An online petition calling for Disney to remove the bronze bust from the theme park’s Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza had circulated for months. Disney provided the Sentinel with no further comment on its decision to delay the bust's removal until Tuesday night.
