Networks Skip Sanders Speech Focused On Policy Rather Than Primary Losses

In a speech to cheering supporters, Sanders chose not to reference his poor performance in the primaries and instead pivoted to the upcoming contest in Arizona.

While he took a few jabs at his Democratic presidential rival, Hillary Clinton, Sanders mainly attacked Trump and the "cowardly" GOP senators who he said are restricting voters' rights.

"If you are afraid of free and fair elections, get out of politics," Sanders said. "Get another job."
